Productive

I re-wrote the end of my SH death story today and also managed to semi-finish the Older SH Christmas story (there's some filler that needs to be put in, some more expansion on certain parts). I like it when the boys wanna play along. Now let's see what other random plots they come up with.

I posted two Jerry Springer (David Soul) things on [info]starsky_hutch today. One talks about two articles surrounding the airing of the Opera on BBC2. There's controversy and lots of it. One the surface the Opera is indeed vulgar and offensive and crude, but you have to dig deeper and see the overall themes expressed. It's not about how much we can push the boundaries of society, it's about taking a look at society through new eyes. The other post was scans of the Radio Times article. Yes, I've played with Page Two on the Picture program, blowing it up for detail;) But even without blowing it up, one noticeable thing is Davey's two packs of Marlboros.

I wonder if that means he's a two pack a day smoker?

Yeesh, I'd sure hate to be his lungs.

You know, I read something in a science mag the other day about why some people are so prone to nicotine addiction and others can take it or leave it. Has to do with the lack or presence of some obscure enzyme. Some swifty scientist guy thinks if he can duplicate the enzyme he can get people unaddicted to nicotine rather painlessly.

Maybe he'll do it before David's lungs give it up. Let's hope.

Geez, the things seeing two packs of cigarettes make me think of.

You wanna here something funny about the Marlboro man? Marlboro's were originally conceived as a woman's cigarette, but Marlboro appealed more to men it was discovered, so they just quietly switched their advertising and packaging to appeal to men, hence the famous rugged Marlboro cowboy.

Rambling, must be bed time.
